Hi Miss R. I am an aspiring elementary teacher, currently a junior in high school so still quite a while to go! your blog has some really fun ideas and you just seem like a great teacher! iv'e been checking out teaching blogs just for fun, to get some ideas. You're blog is really awesome and you're ideas make me want to teach more! Just thought I would share!
Erin, Thank you! That is such a sweet comment! I'm glad my ideas are furthering your dream. I must step in and give you a story and word of advice. When I was in high school, I took a high school/college credit course called Teacher Cadets. I was incredibly excited to be one of the few students chosen. After being paired with a not so "inspiring" teacher, I actually was turned off of teacher for several years. This one class caused me to change my college choice, career choice, and wasted several years of my life and money. So my advice to you is to stay focused on your dreams! Don't let anyone influence you for the worse. Between now and your first teaching job will not be easy, but it will be a lot of fun with great memories. Thank you, again, for your sweet comment.
I will definitely learn from you're story and advice! Teaching has always been a dream of mine and I am so excited to be getting closer and closer to fulfilling it! Teachers play a big role in students lives, well at least I know mine have! Thanks for the well wishes!
Thank for reading my blog! I would love to read your comments! :) I apologize for the word verification images that are so hard to read. You wouldn't believe the amount of SPAM I receive daily without the word verification.
