Yesterday, afterschool, instead of doing work, the 5th grade teachers, a Reading Specialist, and our most valuable assistant recorded vocals and a music video for the debut of the Spell-A-Thon at our school. The 5th grade teachers were asked to do this because we are "the fun ones." I think that's a lie, but we were all very much willing to participate. The vocals were recorded on my mac and the video was recorded on an iPad. I clipped and pieced everything together last night, in only a few hours. I must say, it was SO MUCH FUN!! The kids don't know we did this. I CANNOT wait to see their reactions when they see the video. :) I've embedded the video for you below. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
Oh. My. Word. I was smiling the WHOLE time!!! I would LOVE to see your littles ones when you show this video!!! Wait - is the whole school doing to get to see it?!? We totally should. Y'all seriously rock!
